Dr Camilla White is a mother, doctor and holistic health coach and she is passionate about women’s and children’s health, nutrition, preventative and functional medicine.


After 10 years of working in Emergency Medicine and General Practice, Camilla has decided to take her medical experience into more of a holistic health and lifestyle coaching space, using a functional medicine approach.

Camilla is currently undertaking further study in applying functional medicine in clinical practice through the Institute of Functional Medicine. She is also studying Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and believes the six keys to a happy and healthy life include; what you eat, the quality of your sleep, how you move, protection from environmental toxins, how you relax or unwind and how you connect (inspired by Dr Frank Lipman).

Functional Medicine looks to find the root cause or mechanism involved with any loss of function, which reveals why a set of symptoms is there in the first place or why someone has a particular disease. Functional Medicine views us all as being different, genetically and biochemically unique.

This personalised health care, treats the individual, not the disease. Functional Medicine is deeply science based. The latest research shows us what happens within us is connected in a complicated network or web of relationships. Your body is intelligent and has the capacity for self-regulation, which expresses itself through a dynamic balance of all your body systems. Your body has the ability to heal and prevent nearly all chronic diseases of ageing.

As a busy working mother with two small children and a newborn, Camilla understands first hand the pressures placed on modern mothers. The transition to motherhood can be a tricky one to navigate and self care can easily slip to the bottom of our to-do list leading to exhaustion, overwhelm, isolation, anxiety, depletion and even depression.

As women and mothers, we often put the needs of others before our own, but we need to prioritise our own self care, our physical, mental and emotional wellbeing so that we can care for our loved ones and step into our role as mothers feeling calm, confident, empowered and balanced.

Camilla has a particular interest in providing medical, nutritional and emotional support to women and mothers from preconception, pregnancy and the post natal period through the early parenting years.

Health and Lifestyle Coaching using a Functional Medicine approach



Initial consult

This extended consultation allows Camilla to take an in depth health history, review your medical and health timeline, lifestyle and environmental exposures, diet and nutritional status, stressors and sleep hygiene. This will allow Camilla to gain a crystal clear understanding of your personal health concerns and goals and provide education on the underlying imbalances that may be contributing to your symptoms and overall health.

Before the consult, you will be emailed a detailed health questionnaire and may be asked to see your GP to arrange some baseline blood tests. Camilla will also provide initial recommendations and options for the next steps of your health optimisation pathway.

CONSULTATION FEE — $250 for 90mins

Follow up consult

During this consultation, Camilla will interpret any investigation results you have and will design a treatment plan and recommendations tailored specifically to your particular needs.

Camilla will review your personalised care plan, discuss the frequency and duration of follow up consults necessary to achieve your goals, and begin implementation of recommended therapies and lifestyle interventions.

A comprehensive care plan may include:

  • Diet and nutrient status improvement recommendations

  • Environmental (home and work) toxin exposure assessment and remediation strategies

  • Stress management and relaxation techniques, including mindfulness based stress reduction

  • Physical activity and movement recommendations

  • Sleep hygiene suggestions

  • Keys to connection and healthy relationships

CONSULTATION FEE — $200 for 50mins

Checking in consult

Follow up consultations for monitoring progress and guidance, accountability, education, meal planning and counselling. These consults are used for ongoing support and motivation to stay on track with your health goals and to check in with Camilla with any questions, concerns or obstacles you may be facing.

CONSULTATION FEE — $120 for 30mins




3-months Return to Health and Happiness Program

A 3 months program consisting of 6 sessions

  • Includes initial 90 minute consult then subsequent fortnightly consults via Skype

  • Each consult is 50 minutes with written follow up reports via email

  • Each consult will focus on one of the six pillars of health and wellbeing: what you eat, how you move, the quality of your sleep, exposure to toxins, how you unwind and reduce stress and how you connect

  • Additional resources and handouts tailored to your individual needs

The Return to Health and Happiness Program will allow you to:

  • Plan ways to move your body that feel good and fit in with your lifestyle

  • Find space for small, manageable pockets of time for self care

  • Discover the benefits of a regular meditation practice

CONSULTATION FEE — $1,200 total ($400/month)
